V. G. Eveland of Eustis, Fla. Miss Lyons is a 1971 graduate of Murray High School and a December 1974 graduate of Murray State University with a BS degree in recreation. She is employed at Peoples Bank in Madisonville.

Mr. Eveland, a 1970 graduate of Eustis High School, graduated from Florida State University at Tallahassee in 1974 with a BS degree in business administration. He is the supervisor for Rocket Oil Co. in Madisonville. The wedding has been planned for Saturday, Aug.

9, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Murray. Mrs. Jerry Lynn Epps Eleesa Carpenter is bride of Jerry Epps BENTON, June 21 Miss Eleesa Carpenter became the bride of Jerry Lynn Epps on Sunday in June at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. The Rev.

William J. Sullivan performed the doublering ceremony at 3 p.m. The bride is the daughter of the late Dr. Harry L. Carpenter and the late Aleene Carpenter of Benton.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest C. Epps of Benton. The church was decorated with candelabra holding white tapers and baskets of mums, gladioli and pompons.

Palm trees completed the setting, Hurricane lamps were placed down the center aisle with daisies and yellow satin streamers. The family pews were marked with satin bows and sprays of daisies. The register table was attended by Cathy Cole of Paris, Tenn. A program of nuptial music was presented by Mrs. Steve Cary and Ronald Hampton.

The bride, given in marriage by Leon Riley, entered on a white bridal carpet laid by Todd Solomon. She wore a gown of imported organza and Venice lace. The high neckline, sheer bishop sleeves with cuffs and V-shaped bib of Venice lace were combined with maize satin ribbon and crystal pleating to complement the full circular skirt. The matching Juliet headpiece topped the chapel-length mantilla. The bride carried a nosegay of spring flowers tied with yellow ribbon and love knots.

The bride's matron of honor was Mrs. Allan Grogan, her sister. The bridesmaids were Miss Rene Morris, Miss Rene Boyd, Mrs. Gary Elliott and Miss Nancy Spann. The bride's attendants wore gowns of yellow jersey that featured chemise style dresses with tee strapped bodices.

Donelson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Arthur Donelson of Aurora, Ill. Miss Titsworth is the daughter of the late Eugene Titsworth. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Heath High School.

Mr. Donelson is stationed in the U.S. Army at Ft. Hood, Texas, where they will make their home. The wedding will take place Saturday, June 28, at 8 p.m.
