George DuBois Mrs. George DuBois entertained the Paducah Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Ritz hotel. Mrs. Edith Todd Brockett of Seattle, third vice president general, was the featured speaker. She addressed the chapter on the Importance keeping alive the organization of the Children of the Confederacy in order to perpetuate the cause.

Reports of the general convention in Houston, last month. were given by the delegates who included Mrs. C. M. Bennett, prestdent of the Kentucky Division, who reported on the president general's address, Mrs.

Roy McKinney, Mrs. Harry Gleaves, Mrs. F. N. Gardner and Mrs.

H. Norsworthy, president, presided and introduced Miss Virginia Powell, executive secretary of the Girl Scouts, who in turn presented Nancy Horton. The latter gave a short talk on the work of the Girls Scouts and the plans for the proposed cabin on Kentucky Lake. Mrs. J.
